What do you like about MRI?
I enjoy interacting with patients one-on-one, explaining the exam, calming anxieties, and building rapport with them throughout the scan process. I also enjoy seeing and using the advanced and complex technology that MRI requires.
What are the reasons why you wanted to do MRI?
I always found MRI images interesting and enjoyed seeing the relationship between the MRI exam and how that technology can help achieve a diagnosis for the patient.
Can you talk about our in-house MRI suite and what makes it great?
Our MRI suite is top-notch. We have a very spacious scan room that includes a large window allowing natural light to come in. The machine has a wide bore opening with bore with adjustable lights and fans. All these things allow for more comfort for people with claustrophobia and anxiety.
Why should patients come to MCHC to get their MRI? What makes us different?
We put patient comfort first, which makes the patient experience better and ultimately allows us to submit quality exams. Having an in-house scanner allows for more flexible scheduling and faster turnaround times.

What do you like about MRI?
I love that in MRI it’s always something different. None of the scans are exactly the same, each scan is patient dependent.
What are the reasons why you wanted to do MRI?
I love to learn new things & this was the perfect opportunity to do that.
Can you talk about our in house MRI suite and what makes it great?
Everything was carefully thought out when planning the MRI suite. We have a large room, with tall ceilings, windows, & it’s well lit. The scanner is a large bore & one of the quieter scanners on the market. We are able to offer all kinds of music for our patients. All of these things help the patients feel more relaxed & less claustrophobic. The quality of the images on our scanner are phenomenal & we offer daily appointments which makes it quicker for patients to have scans done & we have quick turnaround times for results.
Why should patients come to MCHC to get their MRI? What makes us different?
Patient satisfaction is our #1 priority. I think patients should know we’re going to do everything we can to make them comfortable & give them a good experience.
